Quirk Quiz (quirkquiz.com) is run by the Quirk Quiz team.

Your quiz answers

Quizzes are scored in your browser. We do not receive or store your individual answers. When you finish, the result page’s address carries your final scores (for example, how much you matched each type) so it can show your breakdown; if you share that link, whoever opens it sees those scores.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand which quizzes people take and where pages are confusing. They set cookies. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked first and these tools load only after you accept; you can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

We record simple events such as “quiz started”, “quiz completed” and “share card saved”, together with the quiz and result name. We never record your answers.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block abuse.

Optional account

No quiz needs an account. If you sign in to keep your results across devices, we store: your email address and, if you use Google, your Google account ID, name and profile picture as Google shares them (we ask Google only for your basic profile and email); your sign-in sessions, with the IP address and browser they started from, so you stay signed in and we can stop abuse; and for each result you keep, the quiz, the result, your final scores, the language and the time. Never your individual answers. When you sign in, the results already kept in that browser are added to your account.

Sign-in codes are emailed from support@quirkquiz.com through Cloudflare. Our mail log keeps a one-way hash of the address and the time, not the address or the code. We send only the emails you ask for: no newsletters and no marketing. Account data is stored on Cloudflare (D1 database) while your account exists. You can remove single results on your results page; to delete your account and everything in it, email support@quirkquiz.com from the address you signed in with and we delete it within 30 days. We don’t sell data.
